So I only have broadband internet at Uni, but there's no chance/point of me getting a TV here. However, I do have an iBook... I was thinking of getting a PS2 and using online gaming here, but to do that I'd need to be able to use my iBook as a monitor. Is this possible?

There is something called EyeTV or something that might do it. But with that you'll get the whole package (advanced tv features etc.) and possible a lot slimmer wallet. I would image an old used tv is a cheaper and perhaps better way around. Especially if you want to play two player on the same screen with your friends. Perhaps there are more suited solutions than EyeTV, but I doubt you can find anything cheaper than a used old tv in the end.
