External speakers (self-powered) or headphones connected to my TiBook do note work each time. Sometimes they stop working after couple of minutes. Sometimes they work only when the TiBook is powered from battery. Sometimes they don't work at all.
It happens in both, OS10.2.4 and 9.2
Control panel "sound" in 9.2 shows both, ex.spakers and headphones when connected. Sound test makes no sound.
In 10.2.4, ex.speakers of headphones are not "seen" by the system and are not shown in Preferences > Sound tab. Even when at this very moment the speakers work fine.
Sometimes, putting notebook into sleep mode brings ex. speakers back to live after machine is woken-up.
Strange, unpredictable behavior.

Thanks in advance for any tips,
Mac-iek
