This is from the Apple iTunes site: "A ratings system that works both ways You can rate your songs, awarding your favorites from one to five stars. You can do that on your iPod and sync your ratings to iTunes, or you can do it the other way around, rating songs in iTunes and syncing your ratings to iPod."

After you install the 1.3 update, can we do this on our old iPods too?

Apparently not. It seems that the 1.3 upgrade only adds AAC support to older iPods. I think it also might have added the Sleep Timer, but I'm not sure since that might have already been there.

Yeah, the timer was already there.

That sucks... all the new features I am sure would run fine on out current ipods too ;-( oh well. I still like mine better ;p At least we can go buy any firewire cable at the store and use it!

I got a great idea! Why don't we start a web petition and force apple to let us rate songs on our iPods. Maybe we can file a lawsuit too. That'll show them not to mess with us!
