If I don't have a superdrive, I can't get iDVD. But I can get an external drive.

But how can I make a reel for editing the way I did on iDVD. I mean it was so easy then.

I made on at my editing course and it was delightful.

So does anything compare software wise to iDVD when you can't use it because Apple are bastards that way.

You can use iTunes with an external CD-RW. Why not the same with iDVD. It's a shame.

if you mean the easy menu creation, I understand DVDSP 2 (or whatever the latest version is) can read iDVD templates, so if you can get the templates (go to the apple store and mail them to yourself or something), that would probably be as easy.

if you mean the cheap way to author and burn a DVD with bare-bones functional menus, there's Sizzle.

I mean iDVD looks cool with their templates... but as long as a DVD program lets you add graphics and other things simply, it make make iDVD not look as cool.
