ok, i bought 2 minis on the same day from my local apple store this week. one for myself and one for my sister.

both worked fine for a few days..

the pink one died within 48 hours, and my blue one died in 5 days.

we are very careful, never dropped or abused.

i have a g5 and my sister has a new dell desktop.


tomorrow im exchanging both for 4g 20gigs. i hope they last a lil longer.

Let us know how they work. I have a 4G ipod and I had some Crashing issues but the Firmware update seemed to fix it. Also i've never had a problem with my Mom's mini. If you still wan the mini I would just return them for new ones.
