Saw Federico Aubele in concert last night. He's the bassist for Thievery Corporation, and he has his own band. He played a show last night in Miami for his new album, GranHotelBuenosAires. Grreat show, heavy dub. Be sure to catch some of his tunes if you're a fan of international dub, downtempo.

I have been to the Thievery Corp. concert here in Hamburg about 2 years ago and own every album they ever released!
I definitely have to give "GranHotelBuenosAires" a try - thanks for the tip!

Thanks. I'll have to check his stuff out. My favorite is Nicola Conte, though. Saw him in Chicago last year.

ha, in fact i was! the show was 18+, and I'm 28.. but I had no ID, soo the guy let me in, but no bracelet to show I was of age.

and surely a Thievery DJ show is grreat, but I saw them last year during their LIVE BAND tour. Best concert I've ever gone to, period.

Just downloaded the album here. 99c a track, no restrictions, no DRM. Excellent.
