I would like to add a comment feature to my blog for every entry. I do not use any blog software yet and would like to keep the blog in simple html pages. I could use a mySQL database or cgi / php software for the comments but have no programming skills.

Any ideas which software would be good?

Try Wordpress: http://www.wordpress.org

Why?
a. Has nice comment feature (which you require).
b. Coded in PHP and uses MySQL database (which you can use).
c. Loads of 3rd party plugins and eye candy.
d. Lots of support and much more...

I third WordPress. Watch out for online poker spam, though. Search their forums.
I do not like those green links and spam.
I do not like them, Sam I am.

If you want to use PHP and MySQL, then WordPress is tough to beat. I've been looking at Drupal lately, but that's probably overkill for what you're doing.
You are in Soviet Russia. It is dark. Grue is likely to be eaten by YOU!

If you are just looking to post items and have comments, then going with something a lot smaller than wordpress may be for you. Check out PHPNews: http://newsphp.sourceforge.net/

You don't have to worry about comment spam with it either.
