This is a stock 15" Powerbook 1.25 GHz G4 Superdrive DVD-R/CD-RW , ATI 9600 64MB, Airport Extreme Card, Bluetooth 1.1, illuminated keyboard, DVI/S-Video, with upgrades that include 1 gig of RAM memory and a 100 gigabyte 5400 RPM drive. This machine has served me well and performs and feels like a desktop machine. I hope to sell it without having to list it on eBay.

Machine history: It was purchased in May 2004 directly from Apple as a refurbished unit, and arrived looking brand new. The stock hard drive (80 gig 4200 RPM) failed about 3 months ago and was replaced with a FASTER 100 gig 5400 RPM drive (Seagate Momentus). This drive is under a 5 year warranty and receipts will be included with purchase, along with the original powerbook box and materials that came with the notebook. No additional Apple Care was purchased for this unit.

Machine condition: This Powerbook is in great shape, and has been treated with care. The only blemishes on the unit are minor paint wear above the superdrive and a fine hair on the edge of the lcd which is only noticeable when the screen is white. The lcd is very bright with zero dead pixels and does not have white spots, which some of these units suffered from. Please refer to the pictures.

PRICE: $1635 OBO + $35 shipping with insurance. Paypal ONLY. My ebay feedback can be provided. I am located in Modesto, CA for pick up as well. Sorry, NO TRADES. Private message me if interested.

IF YOU'RE A JOKER DON'T BOTHER CONTACTING ME. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY.

The winning bidder had 0 feedback and was from Australia (I ship to USA and Canada only) Haven't heard from the guy either so it looks like I'm going to re-list this.

I talked to Ebay and they said there is no way to prevent bidders with 0 feedback from bidding on your item, you have to manually cancel their bids! You would THINK Ebay could implement a "no zero feedback bid prevention" technique for the benefit of all Ebayers......

The introduction of the new powerbooks probably did not help. After having trouble with false buyers I only let bidders with feedback on Ebay bid, I'm thinking that didn't help as well. I thought the upgrades would be more valuable since the ram and hard drive ran me over 300 bucks. It seems you have to let the crooks bid on Ebay to get a more fetching price, live and learn. "damn"

That's the price I was asking 6 weeks ago so that's obviously not what I was expecting.

I WAS expecting to go for 1200 + upgrades value (say 200) so $1400 would have been nice. I have no Ebay skills.
