I recently switched to mac from Windows. On my Windows computer I had WM and RM Recorder(http://www.applian.com/wmr/index.php...ming-media.com) that I used to capture and save streaming video from the internet. Those programs worked perfectly, but unfortunately are not compatible with mac.

Does anyone know of some good software to capture/rip streaming videos (mainly WMV, RM, and MOV files) with Mac OS X?

I use the cli-tool mmsclient that comes with ASFRecorderX for Windows Media streams, and for Realmedia streams I use the cli mplayer with the -dumpstream command.

I don't know of any way to capture streaming Quicktime that doesn't involve recording screen activity, but if that sounds like your thing, check out Snapz Pro.

Edit: Another option is to acquire VirtualPC to run your old stream recorder.
