Hey everyone,
I've got an old PowerBook with a USB Bluetooth adaptor and I'm considering buying a bluetooth headset. On the info page of the headset, it says it connects with all cellphones - so what about connecting with my Mac? Does that work?
I imagine it working flawlessly both as a microphone and as an ear plug, but I'm not sure.
Help would be appreciated,
Greetings,
Steve

I have a Motorola H300 headset which is marketed for cellular use, but works great with my Mac. There's an initial connection setup, and then it just pairs whenever you activate the headset. Works for all programs that might want a microphone in OS X that I've found, and plays all audio from the Mac as well.
Oh, mine's an adapter as well(D-Link DBT-120). I know some brands of adapters work better than others, and that the best way to test their ability is to try pairing a headset to your mac with your adapter. Good Luck!
