hi all

looking for a webcam for my folk's Mac Mini. i hooked up the logitech quickcam 5000 (latest generation) i use with my PC and it worked fine except some weird focusing and color issues so it;s a no-go.

what (besides the infamous isight) works natively (or at least with a clear picture. don't really need anything fancy, just something stable, and around the $50-60 range. TIA

Check out this one here:
Ecamm Network: iMage Webcam - Driverless Webcam for Mac OS X, iChat, Skype and more

I'd go with the iSight, though.

The XBox Live Vision webcam for the Xbox 360 works great on the Mac; no drivers needed and works with iChat as of 10.4.9. However, there's no mic in the camera, so you will need to buy a USB microphone as well.

If you are running 10.4.9, any Vista certified web cam should work. I got my parents a Logitech QuickCam Fusion. I plugged it in and selected in iChat. No drivers to load.
