Latest stack backtrace for cpu0:
Backtrace: 0x00080f70 0x00081310 etc etc and more
last line reads
Panic: we are hanging here... OMG how do I undo whatever I did? It's an ibook G3... but that's all I know... I hope someone can save me from myself.

Clamshell iBook G3? The toilet-seat designs?

No Firewire?

Are you trying to install 10.4 Tiger on a G3 iBook without Firewire? That's an unsupported machine and will not work without a little hacking.

Search the web for XPostFacto, or, if you don't want to deal with that, install 10.3 Panther.
