I've got a 260 GB internal drive that came with my Dual Power Mac G5 that's getting full. I'd like to add another SATA internal drive, probably 1 TB for my photos and video, but have no experience with which brands are reliable, etc. Looking for recommendations...

The Hitachi is a bit faster, while the Seagate has a longer warranty. Either are good brands.

lazy me for not looking this up but how many drives can you fit in these guys? I have to add another drive too and I already have 2 in there. Wasn't it four total?

@hart PowerMacs support 2 drives internally, unless you pull the DVD/CD drive out then you can stick a ATA drive in there also for a total of 3 drives.
There's 3rd party hardware that allows you to add 3 more SATA drives for a total of 5 SATA drives. SwiftData200
@bestefar the Hitachi is a nice drive, had one in a G5 and no complaints.
Cheers
