Virusscan Problems - how to fully uninstall?

how do i get rid of this problem.. it is taking up about 150-170MB of my ram in kernel_task i believe. i tried uninstalling, reinstalling then uninstalling, etc. to try to solve this.... looked all over the web and can't find a good solution. thanks a lot!
