I've got a Powerbook G4/1.5 12"
The battery life of my 280 cycle battery started acting weird, so I got a new battery.
Now, even the new battery won't charge past about 43%. I've repeatedly calibrated it, but to no avail.
Wanted to see if anyone had a solution.

Try using Coconutbattery. It will tell you the current charge capacity and how many cycles the battery has been charged. Maybe you got a bum battery and need to exchange it.

You can reset the power manager. But given the age of your machine, I think the battery is just old. Batteries have a finite life time and ~300 charge cycles sounds reasonable.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
