Hey guys, so I have a movie clip that I want to take just the sound from, is this possible and if so what is the best method of capturing the audio only from a saved movie clip?

You can do that with iMovie, actually. Just import the video, then go Share -> Export to QuickTime, and then choose "Sound to AIFF".

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

What OS X are you on ?

In Snow Leopard, use Quicktime 7 in /Applications/Utilities/.

File - Export... - Sound to AIFF
