After upgrading from 8.5 to OS 9 the file exchange interrupts startup. Conflict Catcher disables it and everything is fine after that. Except, the computer cannot read a PC formated disk or CD. I tried going back to the 8.5 driver. No luck. This is a PowerCenter Pro 180 upgraded with XRL8 ZIF 400. The original hard drive was formatted with FWB Hardisk Tool Kit PE. Never had any problems. After OS 9 and updating the drivers to Apple's OS 9 everything changed. Any suggestions?

Jere,
Try deleting the File Exchange preferences (System Folder>Preferences>File Exchange Preferences) and rebuilding the desktop. If that doesn't work, try a custom install of just the File Exchange control panel from the OS 9 CD.
