I have a PM G4/400 and the built-in nic is set at half duplex speed instead of full. How do I set the nic for full speed? I am running OS 9.0.4. My switch is set at 100Mbps/auto off /full duplex.

Thank you and have a great day!

Be sure to check that you are using decent quality CAT 5 cables.

What brand/type of switch are you using?

Why are you running it at auto off?

Just wondering. I am running a ZyXel Prestige switch/router at auto settings, and instantly got 100BT/full duplex (according to ASP w/ OS9). I'm not sure if there is an easy way to configure the NIC.

there is a duplex tool you can get from apple, look for it in the support area.
