Hey guys and girls,
I am new to iPhone development, and in February 2009, my friend from college and I started an iPhone game studio called FIPLAB.
Today, we are ready to announce the details of our first game, CopterKid, which is due to be released in
May 2009 (provided the approval process goes smoothly!).
Since this is our first foray into iPhone/App development, or any development for that matter, we'd really appreciate any feedback and advice you have to offer us.
Armed with just our love for games and innovative technology, we founded FIPLAB on the premise of creating simple, addictive, pick-up-and-play games - and if all goes well, we hope to continue doing just that!
With CopterKid, the idea was to produce something fun for males, females, adults, kids and everyone in between. Cute characters, evil enemies, addictive gameplay, great layered 2D graphics, topped of with some amazing music. We mixed these key components up and after a bit of tinkering and a pinch of magic dust, CopterKid became a reality.

To be honest, development has been hard work for us and also a huge learning curve to say the least. It has been great to see the birth of our game - an idea which may forever have remained a pipe dream had it not been for the unique opportunity that Apple provides to indie developers like ourselves. Hearing your comments will be extremely useful and we hope to keep you regularly updated with more screenshots and a video as we near completion of CopterKid.
Cheers,
Rishi
