Hey guys. I'm getting very frustrated with DC. Since I "upgraded" to 1.01 I've had a lot of problems. I believe this is due to a memory leak. It ends up slowing the system down so much I have to reboot. For all its problems 1.0 never did this. Anyone know of a timetable for the next version? (One hopefully run through boundschecker or the OSX equivalent)

For all its interface flaws (and they are legion) the program works well. However it is almost unusable in the 1.0.1 incarnation. I'd love a client because I find the DC network much better for finding obscure music than Kazaa.

Version Tracker has a Java version. However it doesn't seem to list my share size properly. I've yet to actually get it to work right.

Any thoughts? Anyone else having memory leak problems? 1.0.1 is much slower as well (likely a byproduct of the leak)

Interesting, I've had it downloading for the last 24 hours. It seems a lot more stable and uses a lot less CPU. Version 1.0 used to have the spinning cursor everytime you clicked the mouse and were connected to more than 2 hubs.
A computer without Windows is like a cake without mustard.

Works fine for me cept this:

It opens this page in my default browser every so often...

http://www.neo-modus.com/macpop.php

the source of that page:

Code:
<html> <body> <meta http-equiv=refresh content=0;url=http://www.neo-modus.com/> <font face=Verdana size=2><a href=http://www.neo-modus.com/>http://www.neo-modus.com/</a> </body> </html>
So I dunno what the hell it does.

edit: ok now what the hell, that page opened then closed as fast as it could the first time I opened it "by hand" in the browser. Now it seems to refer me to another page, it must check IP and then know if you open the page a few times in a short period of time that you know whats going on.... so that soucre above don't mean anything, its what I get now that I have opened it a few times in a few mins.
