I have the same problem. My iBook is the dual-USB 16VRAM model. I updated to 10.2.4 and my modem started cutting me off from the net randomly, sometimes almost immediately, but most times after a few minutes. How do i revert back to 10.2.3? Do I just download the update file and install over the current updated system? Help!

my ibook is a new 800

someone seems to have a workaround :

Unchecking the "Enable error correct....." and "Wait for Dial tone..." boxes allowed for connection and for all apps to work as they were supposed to again. Apple has a modem driver issue obviously in the 10.2.4 release, but at least this workaround works right now.

didn't try it myself
