Arghh this is not funny anymore. I have some bugs and 10.2.4 was going to resolve these bugs. But where is it???
Apple please get on with server release. The 2 Gb/s fibre interface driver could be a seperate update later. Or is it the new tool for Xraid that delays the release?

I second the emotion of the first post. Also, does anyone have an idea as to why this release would not be in tandem with Client 10.2.4?

Will it be released this week?

bueller? .... bueller?

I would immagine that Apple has a lot of issues to fix in software that is specific to server... while they are the same kernel, there is actually a notable difference in what is included with X workstation and X server.

As for me, I really hope they clean up OpenDirectory... From the problems that I've run into with their LDAP implementation, combined with what I've seen on the Apple support discussion boards, they have their work cut out.

All I can say is that this update had better be worth the wait... Wouldn't hurt Apple to release some updated documentation for 10.2 server either; many of the docs on their website are still for 10.1

I'll agree.. having to wait is bad.
Although... even worse is a trigger-happy server admin.

Servers needing fibre channel are generally not the type of servers upgraded prior to early-adopter stability reports.

OS X server updates should be subjected to more rigorous testing than client updates!

Just out of curiosity... what are you using fibre for?

hrmm ... wouldn't any admin running OS X server in a production sense be called trigger happy by the IT world at large? _I_ don't think so, but I wonder why all previous releases have been in tandem and not this one. Does that mean that all the prior releases were not as thoroughly inspected? I don't think so, but I do hope that it is worth the additional wait.
