I got a trackingnumber for my BTO 17" now! Ordered 2PM Keynote day. Had on or before shipping date 03/20/03 all the way, they made it!! 
But still some days to wait untill it is actaully with me...

Funny, I ordered mine BTO at 2:13 on Keynote day and got an "on or before 3/24" and no tracking number. Apple told me that orders were filled first order first ship according to BTO or not. So, by that logic I should get my tracking number about when someone else ordered a BTO same day and time. Argh.

It looks like very few people who ordered from the Apple Store online after the first few days have gotten tracking numbers. I ordered on 1/23 (standard, no BTO) and still have an OOB date of 4/4/03.

Of course, they are sending units to their stores, so that people nearby can just walk in and get one, but we people that ordered way ahead, pre-order, are still waiting. I don't have an apple store near hear otherwise I would be down there getting me one.

I ordered BTO on 01/07/03 at 2:13 PM PST.
