Well Just bought this card reader can I intall this in my G4? I can't seam to find where it would plug in. Not the same as the internal zip I had in there. any ideas. I have never heard of an USB Header Connector that Connects to Motherboard.Sorry if a dumb question but I am a little clueless right now...thanks all

I'd say it won't work in your G4, based on the picture and description on that web page. Not only that, but your G4 doesn't have a floppy drive bay to put it in. You'd be better off with an external USB reader.

well it physicaly fits were the zip drive was (it's the same size) but yea that plug....can't find a spot to plug it in...anyone know what Kind of internal card reader will fit? I have seen it done...thanks much...

That's just a USB flash reader, and has a connector for an internal USB header. Some PC motherboards have a connector for it right on the motherboard. If you don't have a plug for it, then you're outta luck.

Just get an external one.

I suppose you could try finding an IDE one, but the only one I've tried didn't work in the three different PCs I tested.

You could use one of these:

It connects to the IDE cable. I think it'd be much faster than USB too.

Don't some powerbooks have a PC card slot? They have CF readers for these.
