After seeing a request for this theme to be ported and being contacted by email to do this theme I decided to do the port. I contacted gigatexel and he has given me permission to do the official port of a hybrid Classix 2 / Classix 10k theme after showing him my mockup:

This will be a late spring / early summer project, and I definitely will not be starting on it until Meteora is released. Also, since I will be initially offering Classix in the tan/coffee color variant, I have decided to drop the Watercolor Coffee variant. The other three initial color variants of Classix will be (as of right now) what you see above. These colors are not based on the Classix series itself. I selected the blue and dark grey variants because those are two colors I would like to see this theme done in, and I choose a purple because I don't know of any purple themes out there and I don't want to overlap in color schemes too much w/ my Watercolor theme. So basically Classix will fill the purple and tan gap while Watercolor already covers green and strawberry.

Of course everything could change by the time I start this project.

Nice mockup Carbon. I'm digging the dark grey version. I'm looking forward to this theme.

Dace how could noone have liked it? I honestly don't remember it unless it was that purple version of DSX that used to float around that wasn't ever authorized by Izawa as far as I know.

Glad to see the positive response. Like I said, Meteora is still top priority. The mockup didn't take very long and I did it while Nathan had Meteora and was adding in his new stuff so no work time was lost on Meteora

Well I think it's self explanatory...or maybe it isn't. This is what it was looking like:

Never released it, but I plan to...someday

Cool, looks great!
I have one request though; would you consider making the "Black" color variant of the Windows theme part of the OS X port? It's not really black, it's like a really dark puprle/redish color. I guess you've seen it somewhere..

BTW, Dace: That's not the theme Carbon was talking about I think. He meant Izawa's black DSX theme, but with all the yellow parts changed to purple instead.

I'd definitely use that as a gag-theme. Release it.

I think it's worth releasing if you like it. Sincerely.
