Brand spankin new (less than one month old) 12" Powerbook.

It has none of the common problems that 12"s are known to have (no heat, no tilting, flush battery). NO DEAD PIXELS! This thing is a gem, I hate to sell it... but I'm moving to a University without wireless-- so what's the point of having a laptop?

It's Loaded.

- 640mb Ram
- 60gb Hard Drive
- SuperDrive
- Airport Extreme Card

I have the original box, all manuals, etc. I'm also including a WaterField 12" Sleeve (with d-rings, strap, and flap) if I get what I'm asking for it (a $78 value). Pics available upon request... email: [email protected] with any other questions (or just PM me). I'll also include an Apple Pro mouse if the buyer so desires.

Asking: $2250

Good luck I hope you can sell it... I buy educational so the most I'll pay for everything that you have (except 512 RAM) is $2030.00 less $250.00 price protection. So my almost final cost will be around $1780.00 plus S&H and additional RAM.

Is your price including Apple Care three-year protection?

Again, thanks forthe comments and good luck.

No Apple Care... What exactly is the $250 price protection of which you speak?

Funny you ask... I've read in several different posts from others that if you purchase a new Mac and your credit card offers price protection and you find the same item for less within 30 days or something the credit card bank will refund the difference, up to $250.00.

So..... it is very easy to printout the exact same Mac (PowerBook in this case) under the Apple Developers page and the price difference is actually even greater than $250.00, even on Academic prices. Supposedly all you have to do is fax it to the CC company, to prove you found a lower price.

So... I'm going to try that with my next purchase.

I'm just not sure I can go through with it, in good conscious.

Hi there,

If you're willing to bargain and are interested in a 20GB WinPod [as a partial trade], I could take this off your hands.

Longshot, but worth a try, I think.

I can possibly do this. What kind of partial trade are we talking about?
