Max, Swiz, Smeger, etc etc etc -- i need you guys to bail me out again:

<rant>
It's happening in PXM 15,000 (menu title selected left cap) that Smeger hacked into the 'layo' of Meteora for me.

As you can see in the picture, it's spitting up yellow garbage pixels on the right edge of the cap... it's really pissing me off because I've tried just about everything. It doesn't seem to be an issue w/ ThemePark at all because the same anomaly appears when I edit Meteora in Sprocket. I think it's just the blue gradient being rejected, I didn't have any problems w/ the caps when the fill was orange/peach instead of the new blue.

Themeing just isn't fun when you have to constantly find solutions and workarounds for an OS that doesn't want to be themed.</rant>

edit: /me hopes the subject of the thread doesn't act as a motive for you guys

Index the original image and then paste it back in, that should solve it.

I had this same thing happen just yesterday. Lucky for me though it wasnt happening with any images which changed pixels from horizontally (it was just a vertical gradient fill) so my fix was just to select 1px wide of the image and let ThemePark stretch it. It worked.

I'll be sure to try Max's suggestion from now on though.

I'd still like to know what the actual problem is - I don't like forcing people who use my software to require work-arounds for things as simple as pasting in images.

Since Sprocket does it too, I'd guess that it's either a bug in the OS or in Photoshop. Photoshop places a PICT on the clipboard, which needs to be converted to a TIFF by ThemePark. I don't know how Sprocket does it.

If someone could come up with a test case image where everything works fine until you change a single pixel, that'd be great to test with.

It's probably YAPM (Yet Another Premultiplication Problem). Seems like that's what it always comes down to...

Not too much - for the past three weeks I've either been out of town or had friends from out of town here. I haven't had much coding time. But fortunately, there's not much left to do.
