What now? I think that the next thing is for everyone to try to blame it on somebody else.
I expect that NASA will come up with a solution in awhile. Or congress will cancel the space program so that we can spend more money on the military .

Well, I'd hope that more than a few engineers sit down and try to figure out exactly what happened and how to make it so it doesn't happen again.
I suggest duct tape.

If you can't fix it, duct it. That's what I always say!
Seems odd that this hasn't happened before now. I hope they have a quick fix to prevent this from happening in the future and that we can return to space soon.

Well now we now officially that NASA was at fault. And $3.4 million for the model? Why don't they just give that to people that really need it, like us poor college students??

I wonder what else could "break" on future shuttle missions.... if they didn't know foam could do this, what else didn't they consider?

I was laughing ... there was an article I read on this where it was stated that they really "didn't know" how the physics of the front of the wing worked. WTF? In light of that revalation it's a wonder that the thing flys at all!
