I want to know if anyone has managed to use a touch up paint for their tibook's case...I love showing off my machine to my friends but i get pretty mad when they notice the paint coming off the edges...
OR, has anyone stripped the paint safely from their tibook, and if so, how does it look? pics?
thanks

Don't use touch up paint. Makes it uglier and the paint chips again. I even tried using tape:

In the end I sent it to Apple for paint repair. If they do it right the first time turnaround time can be less than a week.

No worries with my new 17". Had it since April and it still looks fantastic. Woo-hoo!

Dont selfpaint your Ti if youre under warranty. Youll loose warranty if you paint it on your own.

You can't wait one week? Even still I would not send it in till the warranty has about 2 months left. They told me they only repair paint once in a Ti's lifetime.
