What the %$^$#&& !
Right out of the box on powerup; my 15" G4 has 3 white spots & 2 dead pixels. This is a BTO order placed on 10/8.
What do I need to do to get a DOA replacement?
I'd like to hang onto it & wait till a fix is acknowleged by Apple, but that could be weeks and I don't have AppleCare.

Thanks

Bad luck

Call Apple ASAP, you usually have to do it within 10 days of receiving it...

(Or you may be able to go to an Applestore... not certain as I'm outside of the US.)

I wouldn't hold my breath on a fix... there is no fix for a dodgy LCD except a new one.

Good luck,

Marc
