So I backed up all my music onto my iPod, to do a clean install of Panther, and now I want my music back on here as well. I made a Smart Playlist of all the AAC files, so I know which albums I have to re-rip....anyways, which program would work best to import the music? More specifically just the AAC ones?
I looked on MacUpdate and downloaded iPod Access, but it keeps getting the spinning wheel when I try to do anything...

On my iPod (2nd generation with 1.3 firmware), the music is stored in "iPod_Control/Music". You can use the Finder's "Go To Folder" command to get there, copy the music files, and dump 'em back in iTunes.

wow. if i do that the finder displays and empty folder (0 items). but if i get info on the folder it calculates the correct amount.

There are folders inside the Music folder, that contain the mp3s, but they are invisible...You can see all of them if you look from the Terminal...
