i would like to extend the reception of my mini-pbook with an external antenna with something like a pringles or coffee can anttena but without the pc card access to the airport card like in the larger powerbooks i don't see a way to do it. does os x work with the usb wireless card? is there some where else a pig tail cam be hung out the case? has anyone else tried this yet?

You could just get a better antenna for you base station, or a repeater if necessary.

The only way to put an external antenna on the Ti was to snake it out the PC-card slot. Since the minibook doesn't have a slot, that's out.
