Which is the best external Firewire Hard Drive between the Maxtor One Touch and the Lacie D2. I plan to use the external drive with a 17" Powerbook. Will the cache make a difference. I think the Lacie has 2MB and the Maxtor 8MB. Will using the external drive increase performance due to the higher rotational speed. Since I plan to use the Powerbook as a desktop replacement would it make sense to use the external drive as the primary drive. Thanks
