Quark 6 keeps locking my tiffs. It's interfering with my workflow. If I update a graphic used in Quark with Photoshop, I can't save it...Quark won't let go. What a pain. I have to QUIT quark everytime I update a graphic because it is locked by quark. Even if I close the quark document it still stays locked.
Surely this is not the way it has to be.

I think the problem may be Quark is on my boot drive on the native Mac IDE bus (QS 733, 10.2); my files are on a striped raid card. Why this is a problem I don't know. It's not really feasible to move the files from the raid to the boot drive.
I've found that it's just easier to work in Quark 5 for now. I do miss 30-levels of undo!
