It sucks that every time you want to try it out it has to go through that pretty long intro, then the actual trick takes 10 seconds. Not for me, but thanks.

Fear for your life, you have touched the "68".

PS: I think we are seeing it a little too much lately.

Idiots upping their post counts by posting meaningless +1 posts. Anyone caught doing it should have his/her count reset to zero.

You do it yourself. I don't understand why you're making suggestions on how to stop it. Why not just STOP!?

That one is a lot better. Obviously it's just a math thing, but it's still interesting.

Try option-clicking it to download it, then open in flash player, or Quicktime player.

Are you being serious? If so, I won't ruin the fun for you! You know magic tricks are never any fun once you know how they work.

In the first one, the reason your chosen card is missing from the final layout is because EVERY SINGLE CARD is missing - it's an entirely different set of cards! (I can hear you going, "Doh!")

In the second one, there is a fixed number of possible outcomes. You will notice that the symbols are repeated every so often. There's a good reason for this: Every single possible outcome has the exact same symbol. The symbols are switched around each time, but there's only ever a single option, making it rather easy for the machine to "guess" which one it is.

Cheap, but effective.

PS: Hannah, good to see you're still around. We need a couple of women here to balance out the male teen computer-nerd testosterone overload.
