This is sooo not a good thing. Uhh I think the logic board went, the video has gone nuts I saw a non normal kp screen.

This is sooo not a good thing... anyway I'm gona call up Apple on monday and rant at them and see what can happen... anyone think I could get a G4 iBook

In response to the original topic... yeah that sounds about the same as what happened to mine with dead logic board . I had no idea what was wrong at the time though, and it seemed to be able to go on for a little bit, a couple of times before dying on me completely. And then of course when I took it in to show them, the damn thing woke up fine again. Luckily it did a dying thing again within a few minutes though, and luckily it was still under warranty, just.

Are they worse than PC or apple people just care more?

They're number one in consumer satisfaction ratings and reliability ratings (just ahead of Dell, IIRC), so probably people just care more.
