Just bought the single 1.8 G5 bundle with free 1 gig RAM upgrade (totalling 1.5 gig -- 2 256mb+2 512mb chips), free shipping, no tax, and $150 rebate from Macconnection.com.

How'd I do?

I'm coming from a G4 450 Cube with Geforce 2 MX video upgrade and 1.5 gig of RAM. I'm keeping my 15" Studio Display that I got with the Cube for the moment.

I was trying to decide between a 17" Powerbook and either the single or dual 1.8. But when this deal came about, I simply couldn't resist. After all is said and done, I'm paying the retail price of a stock 1.6 G5.

What do people think?

Sounds like a decent to good deal to me.
