Sounds like network problems.

DO a traceroute, and I'd bet you'd find your problem(s) there.

Yes, and if the theory is correct, half the world will never go back.

The world is half black
because half the world
is night, and half of the
other
world is night. The other
half is day/night.

Turns out that my iDisk was synching and hogging all my bandwidth. Odd, but it seems that Safari just didn't bother loading some pages under those conditions. Maybe the successful ones were cached. Hmmm...

Anyway, my iDisk finished syncing and then everything network-related stopped working. I did the old unplug the DSL modem trick and now we're back in gear.

Sorry to do a war or the worlds on you all

Wow, the world has three halves!
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.

There are worlds where there

Our world has one half of night,

i totally thought this thread was going to have something to do with the words "hizzle, and shizzle" becoming mainstream.

I swear i've heard that in at least 3 commercials earlier this year.

You know you're probably right, I was at the mall the other day and I'd say half of everyone I walked past were black. Never noticed it until now.

I dunno but I was having inordinate difficulty connecting to anything between afternoon Saturday and around noon thirty today. It was like all the DNS servers dissapeared.

oopsie.

Project Slingblade was undergoing development testing. It may have saturated the internet for a few hours.

I'll be more careful in the future.

Very Jules Verne of you Spliffdaddy. Neat as a movie prop, but I'd go nuts with something like that in the living room. Or the wife.

You haven't seen 10% of the wow.

They are merely unpolished skeletons in 'early development' stage.

There are several modules which incorporate hardware that is, let's say, extremely overqualified for its job... a phase-change (CFC-free) chiller, a 1500w Lambda DC powersupply with a 1960's nixie tube voltage display (cool factor multiplies by ten when nixie tubes are used), and a CPU module that houses the PC hardware, waterblock and cascaded (stacked) TECs. These modules interconnect to form what will be the most insane overclocking experience on the planet.

That looks like something out of a nightmare only a plumber could conceive of.

Hell, I bet once you load it up with parts, all it'd take is a swift kick to have the insides go to ****.

I was having trouble earlier today, but things seem to be ok now.

Some of my frustration was getting Firefox... that was probably unrelated, though.
