It's actually really simple... I am huge into plants and flowers. Just a picture of some flowers I took. Put into grayscale and then did an inverse... gives a cool effect with flowers.

Kind of sad really as this comic is really one of the best in this decade on this side of the planet, especially if you are into the humor. Perhaps there will be English editions later down the road.
