How do I know which version of usb I have?

I have a tibook 667 I bought early 2003 or 2002. How do I find out which version of usb I have? Looked through system profiler but couldn't see any version numbers.

I was getting ready to ask the same question. I have a 15" 867 Mhz Titanium. I was wondering whether mine would support the new Iomega Super DVD Writer (USB 2.0 External Drive):

if the speed of the USB-port is up to 12 Mbit/sec, then it is USB 1. USB 2 goes up to 480 Mbit/sec if I remember right.

i was looking on mactracker (search versiontracker for it), and i think both are usb 1

They are both USB 1.1. If you have a Titanium Powerbook, it has USB 1.1; Aluminum rev2. has USB 2.0

Both are usb 1. The second generation Aluminum Powerbooks are the only ones with usb 2.

Yep, you guys have USB 1.1, sorry.
Apple's support pages would have that kind of info for future reference.

next time open the system profiler application and click on USB. it will list the speed of your USB bus.

Only the very last revisions of Mac hardware (beginning with the Power Mac G5) have USB 2.
