Sounds like he is being a SORE loser. He's gettin creamed and can't stand it. Like he said "Apple's iPod music player does not support other proprietary music formats and does not license its own format to rivals,." Yet Real doesn't license there format to rivals. He needs to put up or shut up I say. Mr Glaser, open your "proprietary music format" then maybe he will have something to talk about. Until then he sounds like a little kid crying that his classmate has more candies than he does and that his classmate isn't sharing.

EVERYONE is moving away from Real
They are down the the last few companies that are too lazy to switch. There are MUCH less expensive alternatives for the audio (AKA FREE), and their video software isn't much better then DivX or any of the Microsoft or Apple formats.
What is their stock at now, $6?
The end is near...

Unless Apple really is making enough money on iTMS to make it worth their while, he's actually right that adding support for other [WMA] formats would increase demand for iPods which are puportedly Apple's money make in the whole scheme. Makes sense to me.

I don't think apple really cares... like so many point out, they are a hardware company. As long as they keep their music prices competitive, who gives a rats ass.
Sounds like they would rather have a piece of their action.
P.S. I would love Steve Jobs to come out and say "we would be willing to partner with you in the same way we are partnering with HP"
Rhapsody is cool and lame all at the same time. You have access to all that music, but you need to have a web connection.

Glaser just wants to be able to get spyware running on the iPod.. It's also funny how a company with such a dismal record of supporting OSX makes these demands.
The verdict:
