As I was sitting in front of my Mac surfing the web I noticed this:

Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry on Wednesday called the situation in Iraq "one of the greatest failures of diplomacy and failures of judgment that I have seen in all the time that I've been in public life." ...

I'd say it was welfare.

I don't participate in the political lounge (hardly ever i should say) but I read it all of the time. I must say, I don't understand why people participate in there. Some people have interesting viewpoints on current events but for the most part I don't think anyone has ever admitted of being wrong or that their particular party did something wrong. No one is changing their minds and often people just tend to exchange insults.

C Is For Cookie

as sung by Cookie Monster (of course!)
written by Joe Raposo

(spoken)
Now what starts with the letter C?
Cookie starts with C
Let's think of other things
That starts with C
Oh, who cares about the other things?

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C

(spoken)
Hey you know what?
A round cookie with one bite out of it
Looks like a C
A round donut with one bite out of it
Also looks like a C
But it is not as good as a cookie
Oh and the moon sometimes looks like a C
But you can't eat that, so

C is for cookie, that's good enough for me, yeah!
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
C is for cookie, that's good enough for me
Oh, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C, yeah!
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C, oh boy!
Cookie, cookie, cookie starts with C!

(Cookie Monster eats the cookie)

My fav. and they're easy to make.

3 cups quick cooking oats
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
1/4 cup magarine or butter
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup creamy peanut butter

Directions
Melt margarine or butter in saucepan. After that has melted add all ingredients except for the oats and the peanut butter.Stirring constantly bring to a boil over medium heat.Once it starts boiling, boil for three minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add peanut butter. Mix well. Add Oats one cup at a time so they can mixed in well. Drop by tablespoons full onto waxpaper allow to cool and enjoy. May be stored in an air tight container.

Side note: Don't punk out, USE REAL VANILLA EXTRACT AND BUTTER! The imitation s*** just doesn't cut it when it comes to these cookies, completely affects the taste.
