I like Sitepoint but they seem strongly tailored to the Windows OS. Are there any alternatives?
Am I ready for the Mac? I want a 60G iPod!!!!!

Webdev's pretty much the same whatever OS you're on. You can run PHP/MySQL on MacOS. You can use Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Golive, BBEdit, etc... there's not many real differences.

What the nerd community most often fail to realize is that all features aren't equal. A well implemented and well integrated feature in a convenient interface is worth way more than the same feature implemented crappy, or accessed through a annoying interface.
