Well, I tried updating to 10.3.4 from 10.3.3 and I got a weird error saying to download the update manually and try again. I tried to reboot, then after the login screen I'm stuck in the console.

What went wrong?

did you press any key after reboot
have you tried rebooting

I didn't touch a thing. I've tried rebooting 4 times.

boot in single user mode (apple s at startup)
then type "fsck -fy"

and/or

reboot from the system cd and launch disk utility (from the FInder menu)
and repair the drive and it's permissions

Didn't work for me, I don't have my os cds with me so i'll have to wait untill I get home.
