Like the title says, I applied cappuchino via ss and wanted to use the NEOS iTunes theme that I extracted from the latest version through guikitty. I replaced the iTunes.rsrc from within the package contents of iTunes but it won't open.
I used to be able to do this fine. What's changed? Should I do this under aqua?

Ideas? No flames please.

Smoke me a kipper, I'll be back for breakfast!

I would add iTunes to the Exclude list before i applied a theme. That way iTunes is in it's original condition. Then after the theme is applied and you log back in, try switching the files. (You spelled it correctly, right?)

Other than that, you might have to find a Higher Power to answer this need for help. Try praying to Smeger.. and have an offering of cold beers.

I tried to do it with no theme installed, but still no. I keep getting a message about itunes being unable to find the music library. Strange.

Copy the .rsrc files from iTunes. Open them using Resourcerer or ResEdit or the resource editor of your choice. Open your extracted files from guiKitty in the same editor. Copy all the guiKitty resources, paste into the original. Save, put into place in iTunes.

KEEP A BACKUP!!!!!! You will screw this up a few times!

(Disclaimer: This isn't easy to do.)

I see, thanks Smeger. I will try this later, so I'll let you know how it goes.
