i just wiped my harddrive and did a clean install of osx (yes, i backed up first).
i have everything restored and working, but...am missing my inbox and outbox mail (in "Mail"), only from june 5-17th!

any ideas?
restored my Mail folder from my library, and got everything else back.
some mail i moved from those dates is in other folders.

but the inbox, and outbox...gone.

As a general rule I also try to keep the "com.apple.mail.plist" Preferences file also found in the Library, but since the rest of your Mail is there it looks like everything partially worked.

Are you sure you didn't back up the mail on June 5th (before wiping the drive meaning all the new mail you received wasn't backed up) or did you back up your Mail just before reformatting?

You can also try selecting a mailbox from within Mail and then choosing from the menu bar Mailbox --> Rebuild. I've heard of that fixing funny things.
