Barfing smilies would come in handy right about now...BLEH!
"According to the lawsuit, on August 8 a bus leased by the band was heading to a downtown hotel where members were staying. As the bus crossed the Kinzie Street bridge, the driver allegedly emptied the contents of the septic tank through the bridge's metal grating into the river below.
More than 100 people on an architecture tour were showered with foul-smelling waste. The attorney general's office said no one was seriously injured"

Nasty... but isn't that more the bus driver's fault?

Whether or not you like the band, keep in mind the nnone of the actual members had anything to do with what happened. It was the driver.

I'm sure there's a tie-in with the thread on Arrested for dumping but I can't quite place my finger on it.....

Now when those passengers say, "This food tastes like sh*t."
They'll actually have been in a position to know!

Isn't dave matthews one of those "environmentalists" ?
Way to go, you hypocritical moron, and mediocre musician. Dumping more waste and polluting more than most people will do in their lifetimes probably. And it didn't help that the sewage happened to fall on people's heads and in their eyes.

Yeah. I'm sure Dave was up front with the driver, going "Dude, dump the shit here!"
People are going after the money (i.e. the band) when the real guilty party is the bus company/driver.
Stupid litigious society.

The band didn't need to lie, trying cover up the episode. For 2 weeks, they've been swearing to God that the bus was parked outside a venue at the time. And then a security camera proved otherwise.
All the band had to do was say "Sorry" and fire the driver/company. Instead, they went to some lengths to deceive the city an the public.
I am a big fan of DMB, and I realize they didn't pull they themselves didn't pull the dump switch, but lying to cover up guilt is ridiculous.
