i HAVE discussed this before, so has this forum. Anybody attempting to still drag up the lies of Michael Moore and still discuss them is a waste of time, IMO. But feel free if you'd like, I'm not going to play your game.

I know I said I wouldn't respond anymore, but I decided to try this again with a slightly different approach.
Remember in English class where you learned about how to back up your thesis statement with arguments? Your post sucks if I have to go to another thread to read your arguments. It would be like writing a book and saying "well, you can find out why I think this by reading my other books". Back up your arguments in the same thread, or don't make them.
I just *hate* this sort of drive-by/hit-and-run name calling thing. It's not just you who does it. It really increases tensions and frustrations in here. This baseless name calling fuels these stupid attack ads and back and forth Rupublican/Democrat character assasinations.
Please back up all of your arguments in the same post, or at least the same thread.

I've searched and searched and searched and the warmongers CANNOT HAVENOT WILLNOT proven michael moore a liar. Where has he lied? There's black and white and shades of grey. Facts are Facts And I am still searching for someone to PROVE that Michael Moore is a Liar. It has not happened yet. Michael Moore is a classic american, were has he sinned? Tell me what bible do you read, from any faith and what sin did he commit? Where is the Proof??? definately not on this thread. I'm still looking.....

The problem is that once people feel they find any sort of evidence that one point in the entire movie is inaccurate, they discount the entire bloody thing.
All I've read so far (admittedly, I haven't read an exhaustive amount of Moore rebuttal stuff) is just nit picky stuff which is superficial and does not take away from the point Moore was trying to make.
For instance, people argued *when* the bin Laden family was escorted out of America. The point was the bin Laden family received special treatment. People tune out what they don't want to hear.
Here is a complete accounting of the 'facts' presented in F9/11, perhaps they will serve as a good starting place.

I'm sure any anti-Moore links you dig up will contain their own bias too. At least Moore is very forthcoming about disclosing his sources and evidence on this page. This page isn't his op-ed, it's a complete accounting of the facts in his movie.
I'd like to know if you anti-Moore folk:
1) cannot refute the claims on this page, but choose to go on thinking the way you have "just because"
2) can refute the claims on this page. If you can, please do so. I'm not able to, but I would honestly like to find something that does so I can re-examine the objectiveness of my own opinion of Moore's work
3) would just rather tune this out
4) would rather blow off his work as biased "just because", or because you disagree with one superficial point in the movie (I'm guessing this will be a popular choice).
As far as what does it matter about the rest of OBL's family, why should they get special treatment that American citizens can't? Just because they are very wealthy and control oil does not entitle them to special treatment, in my opinion, nor does it warrant the Bush administration not being forthcoming about this.
Why is it that the Saudis have billions of dollars invested in the economy (9%, I believe?), yet even though there were Saudis aboard the planes that hit the WTC, we are more inclinced to look the other way?
Why is it that the bin Laden family was not even questioned, but was allowed to be discreetly escorted out of the country without even asking them questions which might lead to bin Laden's capture?
It sounds like you are blowing off the Moore/OBL family connection. It takes some serious apologist behavior to just tune out this sort of behavior, Cheney and Halliburton stuff, and in general the whole US/Bush relationship with the Saudis... if there were Saudis on the planes, how come it is never discussed whether *they* are providing safe havens to terrorists?
I'm not trying to imply that they are, but there is just too much here to tune out.
