Mm-hmm, but the people, they are not so proud of their eMacs as they are of their iMacs and PowerBooks, and so it is mighty sparse at present.

eMac 1 GHz overclocked to 1.5 GHz, 1024 MB RAM, Pioneer DVR-109 dual layer " Super Superdrive", 250 GB 7200 RPM drive, Airport Extreme (Works as base station), overclocked video card, 17" old HP monitor, 3G (20 GB) and 4G iPod and a another 250 GB 7200 RPM external Firewire hard drive in a Bytec case.
I know the desk doesn't look great, its an old art desk so it has blotches of paint, ink and tape here and there. Works great though. Out of the picture are a Cannon scanner and I have the eMac hooked up to my home audio unit.

I'm quite proud of my eMac. It's my work area that I'm not proud of! A photo of my eMac "setup" would be not a pleasant sight.

Where's the rest of the setup? So far the ones posted are pretty nice. I can't wait until the eMac gets refreshed. Hopefully it will have a 1.5-1.6 GHz G4 and will probably have the same graphic card as the new iMac.

Mine isn't quite as impressive.... But here is my eMac G4 1Ghz, 256MB RAM. Then My Toshiba Satellite Pentium III 1Ghz, 384MB RAM. And my stereo is shown atop; my eMac is hooked up to that. My 3G 10GB ipod is in there too. In the bottom left corner, you can kind of see my little HP deskjet printer.
and.. my first post too!

How loud is that sum'bitch? Did you have to increase the cooling to overclock it? I was thinking of actually slowing down the cooling fan in my eMac to make it run quiter.
I guess it's too much to ask to have overclocked AND quiet, eh?

It's not all that loud. I thought about adding a variable speed fan controller to slow it down. It runs solid and hasn't given me any problems other then some memory I had go bad. I tried pushing the video card hard once and it didn't work very well. I've thought of other methods of cooling, but don't really want to hack up my lovely eMac.
This site is great for eMac modifications including overclocking, fan controller and more.
