I'm going to get a 15" powerbook, since I just sold my 17" but this time I decided to get a display. I'm waiting until the next pb update (tommorrow?!) before I purchase but I was thinking about going to my local store to get one now. I think applecare mentions something about buying both at the same time in order to be covered under applecare. Does anyone know this to be true, or can i buy a display now and the pb when they update?

Powerbook and Display have to be both on the same invoice. Talk to your dealer. They are generally very helpful if you intend to buy something NOW. But, the invoice should not have a date before the powerbook was delivered by apple
